Pals Mentor Orientation
This training is part of the Pals Mentor Screening Process. The four hour training focuses on acquainting you with YouthZone and the Pals Mentoring Program. It will give you the guidelines and skills you will need to be a Pals Mentor. A manual is included.

Ongoing MentorTrainings
To further support our Mentors, YouthZone offers four ongoing trainings throughout the year. These trainings are provided on a revolving menu of topics so a Mentor can attend each training. Training topics include: Setting Limits in the Mentoring Relationship, A Deeper Level of Communication with Your Mentor, Valuing Differences, and Academics in the Mentoring Relationship. Pizza Dinner, presentation and question and answer time is generally in the curriculum.
