YouthZone was created in the late 1970's to assist the youth of our valley in navigating the perils of boredom and bad decision making. Since I WAS a teenager in the valley at the same time, I can relate to YouthZone's cause - good kids sometimes make bad choices! Because of the caring and respectful way that YZ works with youth in need and youth offenders, I am more than happy to volunteer my time and effort if it can help, even in a small way, to save just one of our youth from going down a path of no return.
