The 2007-2008 year marked the 32nd year of operation for YouthZone. During this time, YouthZone provided services in five focus areas: community outreach, counseling, mentoring, life skill education, and interaction with the legal system.
• 1181 young people assisted through direct services.
• Staff active on 16 committees, providing 193 hours of technical assistance to 1009 adults/youth.
• Staff attended 22 trainings to keep current on youth/family practices.
• 104 community education presentations
• Agency income $1,166,200.
YouthZone gave me someone to talk to and helped me see that my life isn't all that bad.
