The 2008-2009 year marked the 33rd year of operation for YouthZone. During this time, YouthZone provided services in five focus areas: community outreach, counseling, mentoring, life skill education, and interaction with the legal system.
• 1130 young people assisted through direct services.
• Staff active on 16 committees, providing 659 hours of technical assistance to 1005 adults/youth.
• Staff attended 22 trainings to keep current on youth/family practices.
• 110 community education presentations
• Agency income $1,169,919.
